    M = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1)

    -33 = (y2 + 10) / (-1 - 2)

    -33 = (y2 + 10) / - 3

    multiply both sides by - 3

    -33 (-3) = [ (y2 + 10) / - 3 ] * - 3

    simplify

    99 = y2 + 10

    99 - 10 = y2

    89 = y2

    or

    y2 = 89

    answer:

    value of y = 89 so that the slope equals - 33

    (2,-10) and (-1,89)
