Whats the equivalent expressions by conbining like terms 5a + 4 + 2a

    7a+4, when combining like terms simply add together the things that look alike

    If you add 5a and 2a you get 7a then you are left with 4. Meaning, your answer would be 7a+4. Since 4 doesnt have a variable, you dont add it to 7a.
