Ligth bulbs manufactured at a certain factory have a 3% probability of being defective. what is the probability that 5 out of a shipment of 30 will be defective?

    This is binomial probability. Either a bulb is defective or it is not. P (defective) = 0.03. Number of trials: 30. X = 5

    If you happen to own a TI 83 or 84 calculator, or a similar one, you could enter the following command:
