When you find more than 100% of a number, how does your answer relate to the original number

    The answer is greater than the original number

    The answer will be greater than the original number.

    Percent means per one hundred so:

    n (100+d) / 100

    n (1+d/100)

    Since d>0, (1+d/100) >1, so the answer will be greater than n.
