What is the difference of (-3.4x+4.7) - (3+2.9x)

    This is - 3.4x+4.7-3-2.9x. This is due to the distributive property, and you have to multiply both 3 and 2.9x by - 1. adding it up, we get - 3.4x+1.7-2.9x=-6.3x+1.7
