    Standard form is Ax+By = C. We need to get the x and y terms on the same side. To do this, we add 2x to both sides

    y = - 2x

    y+2x = - 2x+2x

    y+2x = 0

    2x+y = 0

    So the answer is 2x+y = 0

    This is in the form Ax+By = C where

    A = 2

    B = 1

    C = 0
