    I = PRT

    P = 1000

    R = 0.05

    T = 1

    now we sub and solve

    I = (1000) (0.05) (1)

    I = 50 < = = = ur interest is $ 50

    Subsitute

    p=1000

    r=0.05

    t=1

    I=PRT

    I = (1000) (0.05) (1)

    I=50

    the interest is 50
