    Z = x - mean/SD so 12.2-14/1.2 = - 1.5

    Z = (x - μ) / σ

    Fill in the given information and do the arithmetic.

    z = (12.2 - 14) / 1.2 = - 1.8/1.2

    z = - 1.5
