You have to find what 1% is using the information given about jack and then multiply by the remaining percentage of liam's money to give the answer

    100 - 75 = 25%

    25% = £2

    2 divided by 25 = 0.08 ( = 1%)

    100 - 40 = 60%

    0.08 x 60 = 4.8

    = £4.80
