Two groups collected litter along the side of the road it takes each group 5 minuites to clean up a 200 yard section how long does it take to clean up 2 miles

    This is dividing

    So 1 mile has 1760 yards so in total

    2 miles = 3520 yards and it takes 5 minutes to clean up 200 yards (We divide)

    3520 : 200 = 17.6 (Now we multiply)

    17.6 x 5 = 88 minutes or (1 hour and 22 minutes)
