You go to a basketball game and buy 3 Waters that cost X dollars each and a bag of peanuts for $4.50. write an expression in simplest form that represents the total amount of money you spent

This is not a question but an apology. I sent a post stating the answer was wrong, but I'm wrong, because I read the problem carelessly, thinking it was a very similar problem I saw in a workbook. That problem also included that the brother also bought a bottle of water. My bad!

    The total cost is the sum of all the products that were purchased.

    We have then:

    For this case, the total cost is given by:

    C = 3x + 4.50

    Where,

    x: represents the cost of each water.

    Answer:

    an expression in simplest form that represents the total amount of money you spent is:

    C = 3x + 4.50
