I am going to try and make this as easy as possible. X=mean, s=standard deviation

This is the Empirical Rule, it states that 95% of the population is within 2 standard deviations either way of the mean.

So, to solve, find the first equation that has a 2 in it. Plug in the values that the problem gives for mean and st. dev. Next, do the same to the other equation that has the other 2 in it. This will give you your two values that you need for the answer.

    Answer is B
