    Cos (90-34) °=sin (34°) So Cos (56°) = Sin (34°)

    Short Answer 56

    Remark

    There are at least two ways of doing this. We can try them both.

    Step One

    Find the Sin (34)

    Sin (34) = 0.5592

    Step Two

    Find Cos (x)

    x = cos-1 (0.5592)

    x = 56 degrees.

    That's one way.

    Another is just to do this

    90 - 34 = 56

    This is much simpler.

    so x = 56

    cos (56) = 0.5592

    sin (34) = 0.5592
