    Surface areasphere=4pir^2

    surface area cube=6pis^2 where s is the side

    the side is 2r

    SAcube=6pi (2r) ^2=6pi4r^2=24pir^2

    so sphere to cube is

    4pir^2:24pir^2

    divide both sides by 4pir^2

    1:6

    the ratio is1:6
