    Suppose the number of white flowers is x.

    The number of pink flowers will be 2x

    Given that she planted 3 rows of 4,6 and 8 flowers, then number of white flowers in each row will be as follows:

    1 st row.

    2x=4

    hence

    x=4/2

    x=2 flowers

    2nd row

    2x=6

    x=6/3

    hence

    x=3 flowers

    3rd row

    2x=8

    hence

    x=8/2

    x=4 flowers
