For an online educational clip, 80 percent of the first 240 viewers voted "like" for the clip. If all of the next 80 viewers voted "like" for the clip, what percent of all these viewers voted "like"?

    50% voted like.

    The first proportion we have is 80/240. If all of the next 80 click like, we add 80 to the numerator and the denominator:

    (80+80) / (240+80) = 160/320 = 0.5 = 50%
