speed of squirrel is = 16 feet/second distance to be traveled is = 1mile 0r 5280 feet time taken for the squirrel will be given by the equation time = distance divided by speed time = 5280 divided by 16 feet/sec = 330 sec or 5 min 30 sec time taken by the squirrel to cross one mile traveling at 16feet/sec is 5 min 30 sec.
