    P=2 (L+W)

    P=166

    166=2 (L+W)

    divide by 2

    83=L+W

    length is tiwce width

    L=2W

    subsitutte 2W for L

    83=L+W

    83=2W+W

    83=3W

    divide both sides by 3

    83/3=W

    subsitut back

    L=2W

    L=2 (83/3)

    L=166/3

    the length is 166/3 ft and width is 83/3ft

    length is about 55.33ft and width is about 27.66ft
