Two machines are filling cracker boxes. the machines begin filling boxes at the same time. one machine, which is filling 16-ounce boxes, fills one box every 2 minutes. the other machine, which is filling 24-ounce boxes, fills one box every 6 minutes. how often are the two machines starting to fill boxes at the same time?

    If machine 1 fills a box every 2 minutes, and machine 2 fills a box every 6 minutes, assuming they start at the same time, they start at the same time every 6 minutes, as in 2 minutes, machine 1 restarts by it self, in 4 minutes it starts again by itself, while finally at 6 minutes they start together, and continue to do so until they are shut off.
