A smaller number is less than half a large number. the larger number is 10 times 1 less than the smaller number. Let x represent the smaller number and let y represent the larger number what equation can solve this

    X<1/2y y=10 (x-1)

    is my reading on this.

    So the first equation is x is less than one half y

    second equation is y is 10 times x less 1
