Suppose you are given a square with an inscribed circle. If the area of the square is 36 m^2. What is the area of the circle?

    Area of a square is a^2. So that means one side of a square is equal to 6 m.

    So that would be the diameter of the circle. And the area of a circle is pi (r^2), where r represents the radius.

    So plug in the equation. pi (3^2). This will get you 28.3 - rounded to the nearest tenth.

    If the square has sides of 6 the circle has a radius of 3 so it's area is 9pi
