A survey of students found that 1089 out of 1452 students took more than 12 credits that semester. how many out of 60 students would you expect to have taken more than 12 credits that semester?

    1089 out of 1452 students took more than 12 credits that semester

    we have

    (1089/1452) * (100) = 75%

    75% of the students took more than 12 credits that semester

    Therefore it would be expected that for 60 students

    0.75 * 60 = 45

    At least 45 students have taken more than 12 credits this semester
