A taxi driver charges a flat fee of 4.00 plus 2.25 per mile. How much will be taxi driver earn if he takes one passenger 4.8 miles and another passenger 7.3 miles? explain your process.

    By considering what question says we have:

    y=2.25x+4

    so

    passenger 1:y=2.25 (4.8) + 4=14.8

    passenger 2:y:2.25 (7.3) + 4=20.425

    total:14.8+20.425=35.225
