Using drawings of rectangular prism, define in your own words, perimeter, area, and volume. Use color pencils to highlight what each term refers to.

    This is what a rectangular prism looks like

    Now for the definitions:

    The perimeter is ... all of the lengths of sides added together.

    The area is ... the sides all added together cubed

    The volume ... the whole inside. (Think like it’s a shoe box and then you fill the shoe box up with water) that’s the volume
