If you are working out the mean, with a set of 16 numbers but in those numbers there are doubles do you still include them in the working out?

for example: the numbers are:

250, 250, 180, 180, 310, 276, 116, 90, 312, 700, 239, 165, 221, 243, 350, 536.

do you include the second 250 and 180? or only use one?

    Yes, you still include them.

    For example the 3 numbers:

    2, 2, 5

    The mean is: (2+2+5) : 3 = 9 : 3 = 3
