Hello! 150 minutes is equivalent to 2.5 hours, because there are 60 minutes in 1 hour and 30 minutes is a 1/2 hour. 150/60 is 2.5. First, let's find how far he went on the speeds he went. He went 75 mph for 2 ½ hours. 75 * 2.5 is 187.5. Then, he went 81 mph for 2 hours. 81 * 2 is 162. Add both numbers up. 187.5 + 162 = 349.5. Michael drove 349.5 (349 ½) miles.

    187.5+162=349.5 miles

150 minutes is 2 and a half hours you would multiply 2.5 and 75

then you would multiply 81 by 2 then finally add both of the answers together
