    First, let’s define the greatest common denominators of the two numbers:

    The 56 factors are 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 13, 28 and 56.

    While 64 factors are 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64

    Thus, the greatest common denominator of the 2 numbers is 8.

    => 56 = (7 x 8)

    => 64 = (8 x 8)

    Therefore, the sum of 56 + 64 is also the same with the sum of (7 x 8) + (8 x 8)

    or simply 56 + 64 is also equals to 8 (7 + 8)
