A science teacher has 0.4 liter of seawater. She gives each of her 22 students a container and a 5 - milliliter spoon. She then asks her students to put 2 spoonfuls of seawater into their containers. How many milliliter a of seawater will be left after all 22students have filled their containers?

    0.4L = 400ml

    Each student effectively adds 10ml of water so 22 students are adding 10ml of water each. Therefore, 22 x 10 = 220ml total in all the containers added by all 22 students

    Water left = 400 - 220 = 180

    The answer is B.
