Out of 230 racers who started the marathon, 212 completed the race, 14 gave up, and 4 were disqualified. What percentage did not complete the marathon?

    Out of 230 racers, 212 completed the race ... that means (230 - 212) = 18 didn't complete the race. 18 out of 230 didn't complete the race.

    18/230 = 0.078 = 7.8% didn't complete the race
