Let f (x) = √x find g (x), the function that is f (x) shifted up 1 units and left 5 units.

    Hello,

    f (x) = √x shifted up 1 units is √x - 1

    f (x) = √x shifted left 5 units is √ (x + 5)

    So g (x) = √ (x + 5) - 1
