The sum of three numbers is 66. the third number is 2 times the second. the first number is 6 more than the second. what are the numbers?

    a+b+c=66

    c=2b; a=b+6

    (b+6) + b + (2b) = 66

    -6 - 6

    (b) + b + (2b) = 60

    2b+2b=60

    4b = 60

    (1/4) 4b = (1/4) 60

    b = 15, which is the second number
