A box contains white and green chips. there are 2 more green chips than white chips. if the number of white chips is tripled and the number of green chips is doubled, there will be an equal number of white and green chips. how many green chips does the original box contain?

    There are originally 4 white chips 4 multiplied 3 equals 12 so there are 6 green chips because 6 multiplied by 2 also equals 12
