At a college production of a play, 300300 tickets were sold. the ticket prices were $8, $10, and $12, and the total income from ticket sales was $26802680. how many tickets of each type were sold if the combined number of $8 and $10 tickets sold was 55 times the number of $12 tickets sold?

    (8t + 10t) + 55*12t = 300300

    18t + 660t = 300300

    t = 442.920354

    time that number by each ticket type (do not round up). That'll give you each type of tickets sold.

    8*442.920354 = 3543.36283

    10*442.920354 = 4429.20354

    55 * (12*442.920354) = 292327.434

    if you add them up = 300300
