10 jars of sauce would cost $25

The easiest way to do this is to set up a proportion.

    6/15 = 10/x.

Cross multiply, solve and get 25

15:6=2.5 The cost of one jar of sauce is $2.5

2.5*10=25 The cost of ten jars of sauce is $25
