    -12 : 3 x (-16 - 6) + 2 Inside the parenthesis do the addition of the first negatives. - 8 + - 8 = - 16

    -12 : 3 x (-22) + 2 Inside the parenthesis subtract - 16-6 = - 22

    -4 x (-22) + 2 Multiplication and division is worked from left to right. - 12 divided by 3 is - 4

    88 + 2 Multiply - 4 x - 22 = 88. Two negatives make a positive with multiplication.
