The length of a rectangular garden is 30 yards more than the width. The perimeter equals to 300 yards. Find the length and width

    L = 30 + w

    300 = 2 ((30 + w) + w)

    300 = 2 (30 + 2w)

    300 = 60 + 4w

    240 = 4w

    60 = w

    l = 30 + 60

    l = 90

    length is 90 yards

    width is 60 yards
