    I'm assuming that you want one or more examples of an ordered pair for the function y = f (2x).

    But perhaps you meant to ask how the graphs of f (x) and of f (2x) would be different.

    That "2" in f (2x) has the effect of compressing (shortening) the output of the function; the resulting graph would take up just half as much horiz. space as would that of f (x).

    If the function were f (x) = x^2, then f (1) would be 1^2 = 1, and the resulting ordered pair would be (1,1).

    f (2x) would be (2x) ^2, or 4x^2, so that f (2*1) would be 4 (1) ^2, or 4. An ordered pair would then be (1,4).
