I think this is a repeat question from yesterday.

    f (x) = 3x+1

    g (x) = x^2-1

    f o g (x) = f (g (x)) = f (x^2-1) = 3 ((x^2-1)) + 1=3x^2-3+1=3x^2-2

    f o g (2) = 3 (2^2) - 2=3 (4) - 2=10
