    -2n + 1.8 = 3.2

    Subtract 1.8 from both sides

    -2n = 1.4

    Divide both sides by - 2

    n = 1.4/-2 = 0.7/-1 = - 0.7

    n = - 0.7

    Check your work:

    -2 (-0.7) + 1.8 = 3.2

    1.4 + 1.8 = 3.2

    3.2 = 3.2

    The answer is B. - 0.7
