    B + g = 589

    b = g + 67

    g + 67 + g = 589

    2g + 67 = 589

    2g = 589 - 67

    2g = 522

    g = 522/2

    g = 261 < = = = there are 261 groom's guests

    b = g + 67

    b = 261 + 67

    b = 328 < = = = there are 328 bride's guests
