F the experimental value for the percentage of o is 37%, the accepted value of the percentage of oxygen is 40%, what is the percentage error in the experiment?

    The percentage error can be calculated using the following rule:

    % error = difference between values / accepted value

    From the givens:

    The accepted value = 40%

    Difference between values = 40% - 37% = 3%

    Substitute in the equation to get the percentage error as follows:
