A blueprint of a building gives a scale of 1 inch = 8 feet. If the blueprint shows the building sitting on a rectangle with dimensions 16 inches by 25 inches, what is the actual area of the rectangle on which the building sits?

    It's 126 feet by 200 ft as each inch is 8 feet so you would multiply the inches by 8 and change the unit to feet.
