    The mean = (3+1+2+2+2) / 5 = 10/5 = 2

    subtract mean from each of the values

    gives 1 - 1 0 0 0

    MAD = (1^1 + (-1) ^2) / 5 = 2/5 = 0.4

    A is the correct choice.
