    Ratio of the sizes of the smaller triangle to the sizes of the bigger triangle is 15 : 35 = 3 : 7 = 1 : 7/3

    Area of triangle = 1/2bh

Ratio of the area of the smaller triangle to the area of the bigger trfiangle is 1/2bh : 1/2 (7/3b) (7/3h)

    1/2bh : 49/9 (1/2bh)

    270ft^2 : 49/9 (270ft^2)

The best approximation of the area of the larger triangle is 1,470 ft^2
