    Distance = Square Root ((X difference) ^2 + (Y difference) ^ 2)

    Distance = Square Root ((-4 - - 7) ^2 + (3 - - 2) ^2)

    Distance = Square Root (3^2 + 5^2)

    Distance = Square Root (9 + 25)

    Distance = Square Root (34)

    Distance = 5.8309518948

    Therefore the length of lm equals 5.8309518948
