    Rachel's equation: y=35x+15 x=per month y=money earned

    Sarah's equation: y=25x+75

    Set them equal to each other

    35x+15=25x+75

    -25x - 25x

    10x+15=75

    -15 - 15

    10x=60

    /10 / 10

    x=6

    At 6 months, Rachel and Sarah will have spent the same amount of money.
