One of two supplementary angles is 8° more than one-third of the other angle. Find the measure of each of the angles.

    Hello,

    Let's a and b the 2 angles.

    a+b=180 (1)

    a=b/3+8 = = > 3a-b=24 (2)

    (1) + (2) = = >4a=204==>a=51 (°) and b=180-51=129 (°)

    Proof:

    129/3+8=43+8=51

    129+51=180
