How do changes in the dimensions of a cube change its volume? if the side length was doubled, how would the volume change?

    The volume is multiplied by eight. For example if the original side length is 1 then the volume is 1 cubic unit. (1 X 1 X 1). If you double the side and make it 2 then the volume is 8 cubic units (2 X 2 X 2). So the volume multiplies by eight.
