In triangle GHI, HI=GH, angle IHG=3x+4 and angle IGH=2x-24. What is angle HIG

    Because HI=HG, ∠IGH=∠HIG=2x-24

    the three interior angles of a triangle make a total of 180, so

    (3x+4) + (2x-24) + (2x-24) = 180

    7x-44=180

    7x=224

    x=32

    so ∠HIG=2x-24=2*32-24=40
