    5t+3=2t+15

    5t-2t=15-3

    3t=12 (divide both sides by 3)

    T=4

    5t+3=2t+15

    combine the t's by adding 2t to 5t

    7t+3=15

    subtract 15 by 3

    7t=12

    divide by 7

    t is about 1.7
